Writing persuasive marketing and promotional materials known as “copywriting” is the process of inspiring readers to take some sort of action, such as making a purchase, clicking on a link, making a donation, or booking an appointment. Written advertisements that are distributed in print or online can be included in these materials. Additionally, spoken items like scripts for advertisements or films might be included. The term “copywriting” comes from the term “copy,” which refers to the content in these publications. Copywriting includes composing advertisements for nearby eateries, catalogs, letters asking for donations from nonprofits, and sales letters promoting various goods and services.
